Ocala, Florida, USA. Nicole Marie Hosmer falsely told police that a man kidnapped her and tried to rape her. She later said she does not know why she lied.

May 02, 2018. fugly fictim Nicole Marie Hosmer falsely claimed she was driving down the road when an armed man got into her vehicle and forced her to take him to two gas stations and a fast food restaurant, where he was given food, cigarettes and cash. She further claimed the man sexually assaulted her by removing her pants and trying to rape her.

OPD detectives launched an investigation. Police interrogated Hosmer’s alleged attacker, who denied doing anything to her. As the case was building up, Hosmer was interviewed again. Eventually she told police that the man did not make any sexual advances and she does not know why she lied.

May 22, 2018. Nicole Hosmer, 22, was arrested and charged with filing a false report to police. She was released shortly after midnight on a $500 bond.

August 15, 2018. Nicole Marie Hosmer of Leesburg pleaded no contest to a charge of giving a false report of crime to law enforcement. She was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and pay slightly more than $500 in court costs by January to avoid jail time. If she fails she will be sentenced to one month and 15 days in the Marion County Jail, according to court documents.
